“Robin was my trainer from January to April of 2019. The only reason I stopped is because I moved away. I’ve had a few trainers in the past, but Robin was my first one-on-one trainer. Robin was amazing, on the first day we met we assessed my strength levels and goals.
Robin is really good at knowing what workouts will get you the results you wanted. As a beginner, he’s also excellent at helping you visualize what muscle groups you need to use in an exercise and making sure your form is perfect before moving on to high-level weights. I was looking at a more dedicated strength-training routine, and that was our focus while Robin trained me. In that time, he made sure that I wasn’t just working on basic strength training, but really conditioning my body.
From little exercises at the start and end of the workout to the weekly and monthly routines he planned, I saw fast and noticeable results. In two months, I had more than doubled the amount I could deadlift, squat, and bench press. Robin was very knowledgeable about where my limit was and pushing just close enough to that, so I always felt like I had a great workout, but I was never destroyed by the workout in a way that made me not want to keep going.
He is a really great guy to talk to while training, super knowledgeable, and just genuinely interested in seeing people improve. He recently touched base to ask how I’m doing and has always offered to develop workout programs for me that I can do even though I’m not in the city anymore.
